🕰️ Historical Background: Guanxin Hall was originally established during the Ming Dynasty as a Chan Buddhist temple, initially named "Jingxin An" (Tranquil Mind Hermitage). It was renovated during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty and renamed "Guanxin Hall," meaning "contemplating the inner self to realize one's true nature." After enduring centuries of storms and hardships, the temple fell into disrepair during the Republican era. Restored at the end of the 20th century, it reopened and is now designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage site.
