The Wangyang Tai Anti-Japanese Hero Memorial Garden is nestled in the heart of the central Shandong mountainous area, established to commemorate the valiant soldiers of the Shandong Army of the Eighth Route Army who sacrificed their lives in the Changshan Campaign of 1941. This campaign is one of the most representative defensive battles in the Shandong region during the War of Resistance Against Japan. In the face of the formidable enemy and the weak forces, the soldiers of the Eighth Route Army relied on the rugged terrain and fiercely resisted the attacks of the Japanese and puppet troops in the Wangyang Tai area. They ultimately protected the main force's retreat with their own bodies, composing a heroic epic of sorrow and bravery.

The garden is built against the mountains, with the main buildings including:
- Monument Pavilion: Approximately 8 meters high, the monument is inscribed with the words "Eternal Vigor," with the backside engraved with the account of the battle and the list of heroes.
- Mausoleum Cluster: Burials for 37 anonymous heroes and some identified heroes who died in battle.
- Exhibition Hall: Displaying over a hundred cultural relics such as artifacts, manuscripts, maps, and military uniforms from the war period, realistically reconstructing the battlefield scene.
- Viewing Platform: Offers a panoramic view of the site of the main battlefield, witnessing the vicissitudes of history.
